The SRDI "Little Giant" designation is the highest tier in China's tiered cultivation system for high-quality SMEs. Selection standards are stringent, focusing on a company's core technological barriers in its niche, independent intellectual property, R&D investment capacity and value to the industrial supply chain — making these enterprises key vanguards of the industrial and supply chains.

Since its founding, KTD has devoted more than a decade to precision optics and optoelectronics, focusing on the development of intelligent optical equipment for AR, VR and AI+XR glasses. Through industry-university-research collaboration, the company has accumulated more than 100 independent intellectual property rights and built full-chain equipment capabilities that span optical performance testing of XR core components, fully automatic assembly of monochrome and full-color optical engines, binocular assembly-and-alignment testing of XR optical modules, and performance testing of finished XR glasses.
